Forming part of the ongoing regeneration of Eastside, Typhoo Wharf is set within a conservation area that incorporates historic waterways, landmark buildings and is adjacent to the location for the proposed Birmingham Central Library. JG worked closely with Birmingham City Council to develop the master plan for this scheme and to provide a mix of residential, etail, business and leisure opportunities. The result provides cutting edge design whilst respecting the nature of the area and reflecting its history and industrial character.
