A run-down, mid-terraced property built in the 1970s was acquired with part-vacant possession. Situated close to Twickenham mainline railway station, JG identified the site as an ideal location for redevelopment targeted at commuters, students and local office workers.
The ground floor contained three retail shops, each with a two-storey maisonette above. JG, in consultation with the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, demolished the site, rebuilt and delivered a new commercial layout to the ground floor of 2,800 sq ft with rear extension and the addition of eight apartments. These were built to a high specification and were sold on completion.
